Vien creates various projects and events merging her observations, insights, knowledge and creativity in sport and culture, appearing in media, broadcast, exhibition and various forms. Below are some of the selected projects/events. She is also Co-Founder of Dawn Kiddos Creative Studio.
Vien, along with Dawn Kiddos Creative Studio, co-produced 10+ episodes of lead-in programme of Hong Kong athletes before the Tokyo Olympics with Now Sports (Now TV).
Vien conceptualised and created ‘Chasing the Chase: An Account of Hong Kong Sports Journalists' Stories’ Project(【今次,這句「加油」屬於你--記錄香港體育記者的故事】計劃) , which is the first multi-media project relating to local sports journalists in recent years. Vien created ‘Seeing Deeper in Sport with Sze’, a series of TV productions which discuss sport in sociological perspective.
Vien writes for CUP as a columnist. She goes on with her direction as a Sports Flâneur to write sport in social/cultural perspectives & to see the world with sport.
Vien launched (designs & teaches) this first-ever course Special topic in journalism I - The Business of Sports Journalism with HKU JMSC, which explores the dynamic intersection of sport, media, and the business landscape.
Vien collaborated with English Schools Foundation (ESF) Language and Learning to launch and teach at the class More than Just a Game: Introduction to Sports Journalism at the summer camps.
Vien created this multimedia platform, which is a hub for her sports x travel content, projects, activities etc. As a frequent traveler, a sports enthusiast and creator, Vien does a lot in the direction of sports x travel, which emphasises on how sport can be a good way to see the world. Vien, together with her team Dawn Kiddos Creative Studio, was involved in producing the athletes interview videos of Sports Expo, located at the Forest, by the Urban Renewal Authority. Vien played a role in interviewing, scriptwriting, voiceover, shooting, coordination and preparation.
Vien is one of the hosts and production team members for the Radio Television Hong Kong's Community Involvement Broadcasting Service (CIBS) programme 幕後精英撐體壇 which discusses about and interviews the unsung heroes at positions outside the limelight in Hong Kong sport.
